Getting Clean!

2 Samuel 22:22-25 (NIV)
“For I have kept the ways of the Lord, And have not wickedly departed from my God.  For all His judgments were before me; And as for His statutes, I did not depart from them. I was also blameless before Him, And I kept myself from my iniquity.  Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to my cleanness in His eyes.”

Praise God!  Wouldn’t  we all like to be able to say that we did what The Lord required of us and are seen as clean, blameless, and righteous in His sight upon meeting Him face-to-face?

I know I would and I know I do! ; )
There is a necessary step that we must all take to get on the path towards achieving righteousness; we must all get clean. Yes, get clean I say!

No, I’m not concerned with your physical bathing, though I find hygiene to be very important. But even moreso important is your spiritual cleanliness.  What are you doing to eliminate that deep down dust and grime? In other words what are you doing to move away from your sinful lifestyle, your deep-rooted iniquities?  Some of which originated earlier in your bloodline and has now impacted your family in the undesirable form of generational curses.

None, but the blood of Jesus, and your God-given authority can strengthen you to rebuke Satan and his camp.

So it’s time for you to get obedient and make it a regular occurrence in your life so that you might not be tempted to straddle the fence between your life in Christ and your old life.  I urge you my brothers and sisters!  Don’t waste another moment.  It’s time you got clean. ; )

As you journey there, here’s a little something from our (Daily Wash).  Plea se follow us on YouTube: Godpleasecleanmyroom

Time to get your scrub on!  Looks like that dirt’s getting a little thick. ; )

A Time to Be Quiet & A Time to Speak: A Thanksgiving Day Meditation

As we Americans acknowledge this Thanksgiving Holiday, I want to remind us & those around the world who are watching us of a few things to get through today, specifically those of us who are privileged enough to be amongst friends & family.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 tells us that there is a time or season for everything.  Towards the end of this particular passage of scripture it says, “A time to keep silence, and a time to speak”(NKJV).

Woah now that’s a mouthful.

Let’s be honest, many of us have developed a culture where we must retaliate to everything said to us in conflict. It’s all over television, which unfortunately our children model. And just because it is Thanksgiving, it will happen around many of our tables today, unless we develop the power to ignore “Good Ole Uncle Joe”.

“Who is Good Ole Uncle Joe?” You might ask! Uncle Joe is that spirit which rests in some of our relatives whose mere focus is to be antagonistic in nature.

Whatever you say he (or she) will be taking full advantage of every opportunity to shoot you down.  You may be thinking, “How can I win this?” Or “I can’t let Uncle Joe clown me!”

Here is how you win:

You win by keeping silent.

After you have already courteously laughed it off & politely suggested that Uncle Joe stop, all that is left for you to do is keep silent.

I assure you after that there will only be one clown in the room & it sure isn’t you. ; )

Now let’s remember to be Thankful for all that we have & give God all of the Glory on this Thanksgiving Day!

The Right Place at The Right Time

Ecclesiastes 9:11 (NIV)

“I have seen something else under the sun:

The race is not to the swift or the battle to strong, nor does food come to the wise, or wealth to the brilliant, or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.”

*Have you ever been in the right place at the right time?

Now I’m not talking some random occurrence where you just so happen to bump into somebody on the street…I’m speaking of those moments where we believers are operating in obedience, not having all of the answers or the pieces that fit the puzzle; yet because we are doing what we are supposed to do, following God’s orders, He fills an immediate need, when you’re not searching for it to be filled in that moment.  Wow! Take a moment to take that in.  He’s that good.  Or for those who have yet to meet God, He loves you so much, He will come and meet you as you carry out your daily routine and show up in your situation when you least expect it.

Consider the woman at the well in John 4:3-30 (NIV):

3 So he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee.4 Now he had to go through Samaria. 5 So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon. 7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) 9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.[a]) 10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” 11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?” 13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” 15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.” 16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.” 17 “I have no husband,” she replied. Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. 18 The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.” 19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” 21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”  26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.” 27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?” 28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” 30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.”

Wowww….take a moment to meditate on that ; )

How super deep yet available at the same time, is our wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?  He is most certainly an on time God.  It is apparent that the woman at the well was definitely in the right place at the right time.  Speaking of her, if you have yet to see this wonderful video of a woman expressing this scripture in poetic form, do watch for it is absolutely beautiful:

Now back to you…

God wants so much for you to be blessed right now in this season!

The one sure way for you to meet Him on the mark is by obedience!  And by acting in obedience, you will assuredly be in…..

The Right Place At The Right Time!

God bless you my brothers & sisters!  If somehow you missed it be sure to watch “The God Please Clean My Room Project’s” video
